The top ten accommodations are receiving the award "Landhotel bzw. Landpension des Jahres / Country hotel of the year", and our Fürstnerhof is one of them. Relaxation for the whole family in a rural environment... Our Fürstnerhof is situated in the middle of the picturesque Chiemgau, surrounded by mountains, countless grasslands and fields and naturally the "Bavarian Sea": the Chiemsee. The lake Chiemsee is very inviting not only for fun in your free time, but also because it offers a visitation of the Fraueninsel with a high quantity of flowers and naturally with the castle of King Ludwig II at the Herreninsel or the convent in Seeon. The Fürstnerhof: a fully working farm with big and small domestic animals. You can find a lot of different sport activities around the Fürstnerhof: idyllic lakes, beautiful hiking trails and hiking destinations, sailing, surfing, golf, tennis, table tennis, rock climbing, Nordic walking, and naturally riding. Enjoy the sun during a "Brotzeit" (a meal or snack consisted of bread, ham, cheese etc. usually between breakfast and lunch or in the evening).The name "Fürstnerhof" is deduced from the words "Viecht" or "Fürth" - which is a river crossing passage close to the old Roman street going in direction Inntal. The first time the farm was named, was in the year 1374, but the Fürstnerhof seems to be older. Our family has been farming the Fürstnerhof since 1874. Due to the intimate atmosphere of our farm you and your family will feel at home. Our country house in an autumnal atmosphere We provide our guests with comfortable rooms and suitable apartments (till 5 persons) in our farm (tested by the DLG). Our sun area, the barbecue corner with hut and the big playground for the children offer our guests also relaxation and a pleasant get-together. Our location is regularly tested by a neutral commission of experts Cows, ducks, cats, rabbits, hens and horses are all members of our family and we are specialised in their breeding and keeping. You will also have the possibility to learn to ride on the sand area or in the riding hall. Or if you are not a beginner, you can improve your ability in riding.
